This is trully a wonderful collectible of the 1959 motion picture version of Porgy and Bess...filled with wonderful color photos of the cast, including Dorothy Dandridge, Sidney Poitier, Sammy Davis, Jr., Pearl Bailey (wonderful full photo of Pearl on back cover); Samuel Goldwyn, Motion Picture Producer and other pictures of cast members, composers George Gershwin and Dubose Heyward, Otto Preminger, Director, etc.... Published by Random House in New York and Toronto...corners very lightly bumped, faint dank odor from storage and pages very faintly yellowed from age, but, overall, I would judge this book as in excellent condition....
