Information

Before we agree to an appraisal via the internet, we must review your item(s) or lot and if your item/lot) is accepted we will contact you. Our review will determine if your item is suitable for an internet appraisal or if it may require an on-site appraisal at your place or if you need to ship your item to us, insured. Generally, appraisals are $300 per day, and per appraiser, plus 15% of the appraised value of the item(s) or lot to be appraised; however, flat rates can be negotiated if you have a sizeable collection. For on-site appraisals, additional fees will include transportation and lodging, per person, and photography, if necessary. Large collections require more than one appraiser. Our appraisers will include reputable, respected professionals in the field, like "Antiques Road Show" Appraiser, Philip J. Merrill and Sylvia Rosario, President and CEO of BlackSatinCollectibles.Com, etc.and when adivsable, other experts who are certified in specialty areas; i.e., coins, stamps, period specialists, etc.
